Turning Point Community Programs is seeking a Training Analyst for our Administration Office in Rancho Cordova. Turning Point Community Programs (TPCP) provides integrated, cost-effective mental health services, employment and housing for adults, children and their families that promote recovery, independence and self-sufficiency. GENERAL PURPOSE

Under the general direction of the Training leadership, this position designs, develops, and coordinates organizational development and training activities in response to specific needs. This position is responsible for the execution and evaluation of Turning Point Community Programs learning curriculum.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Training Analyst supports planning, development, and evaluation of various staff development and training programs to address organizational, departmental and individual training needs on behalf of Turning Point.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)

  • Works with Training Coordinator to define learning objectives, consults with subject matter experts and sources relevant information to develop appropriate and contemporary content while leveraging various learning methods.  Designs and creates training content assuring content is correct, clear, and high-quality.
  • Partners with decision makers across the organization to support TPCP’s strategic learning and development management objectives
  • Conducts organizational capabilities assessments. Provides internal consulting and/or needs assessments to individuals and departments on capability development opportunities that will enhance the skills/competencies of employees and teams.  Identifies gaps in skills and competencies of employees and delivers tailored training programs to fill those gaps.
  • Maintains a portfolio of training courses recommending appropriate strategies, methodologies, and job aids to maximize the learning experience.  Works with outside vendors and manages contracts as required.
  • In conjunction with the Training Coordinator; develops and conducts evaluations of trainings that assess participant experiences, evaluate learning outcomes, and understand how course content is implemented by course participants. Identifies the extent to which training content is meeting desired long-term goals and adapt efforts to improve training outcomes.
  • Identifies and leverages various tools to create an e-learning platform that is intuitive to the training needs of the organization.
  • Documents, tracks, reports, and delivers eLearning education courses and online training programs.
  • Assists the Director of Clinical Development with the intern program.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

Education, Training and Experience
A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills and abilities outlined above is through graduation from an accredited college or university with bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, education, adult learning, or organizational development, human resources, psychology or a related field; and two years of increasing complex administrative, education, human resources, and/or organizational development experience. The equivalent combination of education and experience shall also be qualifying.

 
Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:

  • California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving; and,
  • Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles.
