Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Observe accounts to identify and collect overdue payments Address client queries regarding repayment plans Communicates effectively with patients to request and arrange payments towards outstanding account balances Take necessary action to encourage timely payments Keep accurate records and reporting on account collection activity Develop collection methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company goals Process patient payments and post accordingly Review patient accounts to ensure charges are posted accurately based on insurance requirements or financial program   Category Accounting/Finance   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Location Commack- Reproductive Endocrinology/Fertility   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Requirements Qualifications: At least 2 years of prior experience working in collections Fertility experience required High School Diploma or equivalent Experience using computers Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Able to multi-task and meet deadlines Excellent problem solving skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Microsoft Excel experience preferred   Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and must have manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.    Shift Days   Tags Benefits/PTO/401k/Life Insurance   Salary Range Commensurate with experience   Position Collections Specialist - IVF   Open Date 5/17/2021   This position is currently not accepting applications.
