The Position:

Join FSA as a part-time data assistant! This position is ideal for anyone looking for flexible hours working from home while attending school, working other jobs, etc. The Data Assistant will support program monitoring and evaluation by collecting, reviewing, and entering qualitative and quantitative program data as well as producing outcomes reports. Working with program staff, the Data Assistant will monitor data tracking mechanisms and ensure databases are functioning so that data is accurately recorded and tracked. The right candidate for this position is someone comfortable with self-guided learning and a willingness to lean new software.

Sample of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with program staff to support accurate data tracking and data entry practices.
  • Assist with data quality reviews.
  • Enter data as needed.
  • Interpret output and outcome data as part of the continuous quality improvement process.

 
Position Requirements

Employment Standards:

  • Minimum of high school diploma/GED required. Completion of some college courses preferred.
  • Command of intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (ability to use and combine formulas to solve problems and answer questions).
  • Experience working with quantitative data preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; can adapt to using various types of software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, computer, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Professional attitude, enjoys teamwork, and ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
