Onsite position, must be able to commute to the Coeur d'Alene, ID office located at: 200 W Hanely Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815

As a HR Generalist / Payroll & Benefits, your primary responsibility will be the aligning of business objectives with employees and management in designated business units, with a secondary responsibility of Payroll and Benefits Administration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provide training on use of Payroll system and Benefits system to New Hire classes.
  • Create/Update/Maintain employee files (physical & data)
  • Create/Update/Maintain employee benefit status using benefit provider portals
  • Create/Update/Maintain Orientation materials
  • Respond to Employment Verification inquiries
  • Payroll processing
  • Other similar and/or related responsibilities as assigned
 
Position Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years Human Resources experience: preferably in a call center environment
  • A minimum of 1 years Payroll and Benefits Administration experience: preferably in a call center environment
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel and skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
