The primary function of the Security Officer is to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors in our Call Center. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior and will report to the Workplace Solutions Team and Site Director.

Responsibilities:

Respond to phone calls (including emergency situations) from site leadership.

Document Daily activity in Report log

Seasonal tasks and special projects as assigned.

Must be able to operate standard equipment for janitorial tasks.

Interpret and follow directions, written and/or oral.

Complete assigned duties in a timely manner

Communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers, and site leadership.

Successfully perform a wide variety of janitorial and security duties

Work rapidly and independently

The Security position can be physically demanding and requires the capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, twist, and the ability to push, pull and lift objects greater than 25 lbs.

Requirements:

Proven experience as security officer or guard

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

Familiarity with report writing.

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems

High School diploma /GED is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17 per hour

Benefits:

Full-Time 40 hrs per week with opportunity for overtime.

Progressive PTO and Annual Cash Out: 1st year= 120 hours, 2nd year= 140 hours, 3rd year= 160 hours, 4+ years= 180 hours earned.

DAY ONE eligibility of 401k investment, with 3% match after 1 year.

Childcare Reimbursement up to $250 monthly after 90 days of employment.

$1000 Employee Referral Bonus with no cap: $300 paycheck after 30 days, $300 paycheck after 60 days, and $400 paycheck after 90 days.

$25 Internet/Gas Stipend per month after 60 days of employment.

2 paid 'You Days': one earned after 90 days and 120 days.
