Cyber Security Task Lead

The ideal candidate will support PEO USC. The Navy's PEO Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) designs, develops, builds, maintains and modernizes the Navy's expanding family of unmanned maritime systems, mine warfare systems and small surface combatants. 

We are seeking a Cyber Protection Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Support systems accreditation through step 1 – Step 6 of the RMF process for all PEO USC systems. This will include but not limited to step 1 Categorization forms review/routing documentation, step 2 EMASS workup/review/artifacts generation and checklist validation, Step 3 and Step 4 support of required artifacts and Step 5 checkpoint artifacts generation and review. Provide qualified cyber staff (Level I, II and III as well as SMEs) to ensure cyber compliance across PEO efforts.
  • Support strategic planning for leaning RMF process by producing internal process guide and updates as needed, functional mailbox management and user guide development and updates. 
  • Provide tracking support for all systems in EMASS 
  • Support the general day to day data calls from NAVSEA, SEA00I, SEA05 and various program offices request for data and trackers on RMF; weekly, monthly and bi-annual summit meetings (including program office cybersecurity meetings such as FFG enclave IPTS); provide coordination of actions, reporting and development of presentations. Develop and manage RMF metrics for a portfolio of systems
  • Support all efforts related to CTTs and TMCRA for artifacts, implementations and final reporting.
Position Requirements


Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in related field from an accredited institution. 
  • Minimum 10 years experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD/Navyprogram management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in/with Cybersecurity relevant to the tasking above.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • An active Secret security clearance is required.
