This position involves working with clients to foster recovery, independence, and empowerment. Key Responsibilities: Use your personal experiences of mental illness and recovery to build strong, trusting relationships with clients through their own recovery processes. Assist clients in accessing community resources, including housing, healthcare, employment, and substance use treatment. Help clients develop coping strategies, life skills, and self-advocacy techniques that promote independence and enhance their recovery process. Work closely with other mental health professionals, case managers, and treatment teams ensure coordinated and comprehensive support for each client. Promote recovery principles in all aspects of your work, emphasizing hope, choice, and self-determination. Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the treatment system and the community.     Position Requirements Peer recovery support certification required (PRS).
