Share Email Opening Title Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer Support Technician  Category Engineering   Description The Senior Test and Evaluation Engineering Support Technician shall accomplish T&E support tasks and interact with lateral Robins and Wright Patterson Organizations or any external agencies as required to facilitate and support uninterrupted day-to-day operations. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: The T&E support personnel shall be capable of independently performing the most complicated and technical tasks relevant to the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Assist with the design, planning, execution, and analysis phases of test programs. Assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through acquisition milestones. Assist the T&E Manager with interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments for projects concerned with unique or potentially controversial test requirements having a major effect on the programs. Apply knowledge to problems and make independent assessments to assist the government in the best approach to correct any testing issues. Assist with planning and developing overall test strategy within program requirements and applicable constraints. Provide assistance with research activities to define minimum test requirements, task scope, and selection of alternatives. Assist in planning and organizing the flight and ground testing of aircraft systems, subsystems, or components involving weapons system contractors, other USAF or Allied test organizations, and DoD agencies. Support the weapon system test and evaluation process by applying their knowledge of test procedures, test authority, and the entrance and exit criteria for Design Try-Out Testing, Qualification Test and Evaluation (QT&E), and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E). Prepare, maintain, update, and review the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, conformity with mandatory guidance, and provide recommendations as necessary for improvement. Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
