Sight & Sound Systems, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of field management for our residential systems integration projects. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the primary job manager for teams visiting approximately 100 unique residential lots per month. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring all project objectives and standards are met, and for finding solutions to problems as they arise. Responsibility will also include day-to-day staff management and training of at least 10 field technicians and five subcontractors. We hire people who are passionate about creating quality experiences for our staff and clients.   Responsibilities Project management of multiple concurrent residential low-voltage jobs before, during, and after the on-site installation; building and maintaining relationships with site supervisors; enforcing company and builder requirements Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals Read and analyze work orders, schedules and other records to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates Inspect all project work, both virtually and in-person at job site for quality assurance according to company and builder standards Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Verify equipment for next-day installations; perform inventory control by reviewing equipment needs for upcoming jobs Compile and deliver weekly reports of department activity to management Supervise a minimum of 10 direct reports including field technicians and internal staff; monitor work levels and review performance while taking corrective action as needed; direct the field work of subcontractors Develop and deliver technician fundamentals training Attend builder site meetings as needed   Minimum Requirements 10 years of residential construction management experience with a builder or primary contractor Staff management experience Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to bridge management and technical teams Outstanding communication and problem solving skills; proven ability to coordinate internal and external teams Strong business sense with ability to develop and implement processes to control production costs Working knowledge of modern residential technologies such as home automation, security alarm systems, networking, and audio/video Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week in office and on site in the northern Virginia area, primarily Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays   Preferred Qualifications 10+ years experience in construction management or related field Degree or certification in construction management Audiovisual industry knowledge and experience Relevant industry certifications   Compensation and Benefits Package Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans 401k with company match Employee Rewards Program Employee Purchase Plan Development plan for long-term career path   Compensation Rate $65,000 to $95,000 base salary per year depending on experience   Location Sight & Sound Systems Headquarters   Division Sight and Sound Systems, Inc.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Relocation Assistance?
