Senior Facilitator 

Description

The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services company that has a successful 50+-year history of providing the United States Military with operations support, logistics management, information technology and financial management support services, is seeking a Senior Facilitator with organizational change management experience.

The Senior Facilitator is part of a team supporting the operation of a Navy Program Office and has overall responsibility for strategic planning an operation support. Principal responsibilities include providing planning support, coaching, and facilitating meetings and organizational development.

Tasks include:

  • Provide analytical and management support including organizational health assessment, strategic planning, process documentation and improvement, team building, training and personnel development.
  • Provide consultation and facilitation to design and implement a strategic management process that leads to individual, group, and organizational performance initiatives across the program office.
  • Conduct situation appraisals using interviews, surveys, and/or focus groups.
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities among individuals, groups, programs, and geographic locations.
  • Design and facilitate leadership strategy meetings.
  • Develop written summaries of strategy meeting results, focus group results, interview results, and survey results.
  • Facilitate action teams to ensure effective execution of performance initiatives.
  • Design and manage progress review(s) for leadership review of performance initiatives.
  • Conduct training and share information on the enterprise transformation and leadership bodies of knowledge.

Provide as-needed coaching, consulting, facilitation, and products in the areas of conflict resolution, human capital development, strategic communications, standard business practices, performance measurement, value stream analyses, and continuous process improvement.

 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in leadership training / management support / and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated excellent written communication skills in the English language
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) Code and specifically adherence to the Transparency Initiative (TI).

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience providing analytical support to the management team for an organization.
  • Experience providing strategic planning support to one or more organizations
  • Experience developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in management team re-alignment including clarifying roles and responsibilities through analysis.
  • Experience providing process improvement for a NAVSEA Program Office.
