Description

Assertive Professionals is in search of a Project Manager who will function as the representative for the GPOC and the Program Office. Provide technical and financial expertise and assistance to the program management office.

Duties include:

• Participation in technical reviews, program reviews, and milestone reviews.

• Review products and artifacts and provide feedback to the Program Office and contractor

• Attend and participate in ERBs and IPTs.

• Review contractor engineering change proposals and provide cost and technical evaluations to the program management office.

• Coordinate cost estimates and technical work scope with the program management office and appropriate project teams.

• Maintain program management office artifacts using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Attend Risk and Opportunities board and report status to the program management office.

Our client requires that the successful candidate possess the following qualifications:

  • A current TS clearance with SCI eligibility

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in any field (other bachelor degrees, such as bachelor of arts, will NOT qualify for this position; this requirement cannot be waived)

  • 7 years of project management experience in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk

Our client also desires that candidates possess the following qualifications:

  • Customer-service and goal oriented

  • Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills to include proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Office, and Excel

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities

  • Ability to identify technical issues and communicate impacts to the Government points of contact

  • Experience with developing and working with systems roadmaps and project plans

  • Experience in strategic business planning, business development activities, product concept development, and information technology engineering

  • Experience in transitioning systems from development through operational installation and transition to Operations & Sustainment

  • Demonstrated understanding of the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the Intelligence Community

  • B.S. Degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • M.S. Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

  • Understanding of the DoD or IC Acquisition processes

  • Understanding of DoD or IC CM processes

  • Understanding of NGA Applied IT Solutions (AITS) portfolio
