Share Email Opening Title PRN - REACH Mobile Support Professional – Child Population  Description The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking PRN professionals to be responsible for performing clinical and coordination services as part of the REACH Crisis Response Team. The positions are responsible for providing crisis response services and therapeutic interventions to individuals with I/DD and co-occurring mental or behavioral health disorders who are enrolled in the Region IV REACH Program. The incumbent will assist the individual with meeting treatment goals, scheduled daily activities, ADLs, and providing de-escalation and intervention services for behavioral concerns. Services will be provided in the community and individual’s natural environment. The incumbent must possess the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the individual, their parents/guardians, support system, and the REACH Team regarding any significant events, the individual’s needs, and their response to interventions. Participates in 24/7/365 crisis rotation coverage..   Position Requirements Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited college with at least one year experience working with individuals with I/DD and challenging behaviors and/or mental illness; Master's level/license-eligible candidates strongly preferred. Other Requirements: Incumbent must maintain a valid Virginia driver's license throughout his/her period of employment and be willing to use own vehicle for travel at times. Travel within a 150 mile radius will be expected so that services can be provided throughout Region IV.Flexible work hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required.
