Caregivers On Demand provides quality direct care in foster homes and businesses throughout San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Professional caregivers will provide a safe and fun environment for children in the convenience of our client’s homes and business settings. Your work hours are based on your availability, opportunities are endless! Come join the Family Endeavors mission…Believe. Belong. Become.” Schedule: Mon – Sun/24/7 program but your assignments will be based on client requests. Biggest need at the moment is between the hours of 8am & 8pm. Shifts can vary between 1-4hrs a day or more depending on assignment. Work Location: Will vary based on assignments; could be in San Antonio & surrounding areas. (Boerne, Leon Springs, Schertz, etc.) Transportation Services may take place anywhere in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Start Date: as soon as possible Essential Job Responsibilities: Provide professional care, when clients need it & where they need it. Ensure all children are redirected & disciplined in a respectful, age appropriate manner. Change diapers & assist small children in the process of toilet training. Prepare & serve simple meals. Implement age appropriate activities. Be reliable & maintain acceptable attendance: includes being on time each assignment.   Position Requirements Essential Job Qualifications: Per Licensing requirements applicants must have HS Diploma/GED, be 21yrs or older and pass a full criminal background check TP Test, Fingerprints also required Must have a minimum 1 year experience working with children Must have 6mos to 1yr experience working w/ infants through school aged children – (experience can consist of working in a licensed childcare facility/program, volunteer program working w/ children & even babysitting). Experience with In-Home Childcare and working directly with families preferred. Must be able to pay for and get Fingerprints completed once job offer has been made. Must have a working cell phone at all times. Must have own transportation and willing to travel to San Antonio and surrounding areas if needed. Must also have current DL with auto insurance. Must be able to attend & pass our training program Must be able to pay for and obtain First Aid and CPR certifications. Must be reliable & maintain acceptable attendance; includes being on time. Must be self-motivated with a go getter attitude and ability to take initiative. Must have strong work ethics/professionalism and ability to work in a fast paced/team environments. Must be flexible, patient & tolerant; Ability to communicate clearly & effectively via oral & written means. Ability to present a friendly & positive demeanor to children, parents, co workers, etc. Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion & high maturity levels at all times. Ability to working nights/overnights, weekends & major holidays when needed; Ability to work on short notice (1-2 hour notice). Ability to work independently w/out supervision.
