Our attention to detail and the quality of service we provide to clients, separates us from other firms. The candidate must possess the technical ability to independently work through a project from schematic design through the construction phase with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience in paving, grading and drainage and will demonstrate some working knowledge in StormCAD, ICPR, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and GIS. Candidates will be required to prepare engineering calculations and oversight of construction documents. As well as, communicate effectively with persons inside and outside the company. Provide clear information to others by telephone, written documents, and email and in person. Perform construction administration functions including the review of shop drawings and interpretation of construction documents.   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Broward   Position Requirements   Essential Job Functions:   Ability to design partial to complete projects, systems, components, or processes and prepare complete project documents. Prepare complete project document consistent with project plans and within project scope and budget. Prepare written correspondence. Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to, or solve problems related to projects or assigned work. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on project activities and track project progress on completed work relative to the agreed-on scope and deliverable goals. Assume responsibility for the quality of work submitted. Review, evaluate, and verify accuracy and viability of designs, data, reports, and other documents before submitting them to the next review level. Adhere to project deadlines and keep the Project Manager or Supervising Engineer informed of any difficulties encountered on assignments. May act as a Task Manager. Ability to relate to architects, engineers and contractors in a professional manner. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager     Education/Experience:   Florida Licensed Professional Engineer; or BS or MS in Civil Engineering; or other engineering related field; and  Ten plus years’ experience in Construction, Consulting, or related Civil Engineering     This position is currently accepting applications.
