This position is responsible for designing, increasing, and maintaining the sales production efforts within the financial center. This position manages the day-to-day business activities in a Financial Center including the supervision of all employees.
Nature and Scope
This position reports to the AVP of Retail Banking. The position will require a positive, energetic team player that has experience developing a market with an engaging attitude and a high degree of member focus. This position works within a team based environment with virtually all other departments to provide superior service to our membership and increase community awareness. The position provides guidance and direction for all assigned staff including performance planning and evaluation.
Specific Accountabilities
- Incorporate AFCU performance attributes in daily work activities along with the willingness and ability to display a professional, courteous, energetic and helpful attitude to members (internal as well as external).
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and abilities to interact with staff to enable effective internal and external relationship building. Ability to build new and existing member loyalty by using a progressive approach to exceeding member needs and service promises.
· Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectives. Performs job duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.

Oversee and direct financial center activities to achieve sales and organization goals to increase market share.

Deliver a consultative approach in selling the right product solution that fits the member’s needs and identify new opportunities.
· Meet or exceed established sales and service goals through direct sales through organic growth.
· Develop each employee to their highest potential by identifying their areas for improvement and appropriately coaching, training or correcting the employees’ performance.
· Ensure that the employees meet sales and/or service goals as established by the credit union by training and implementing weekly sales meetings.
· Completion of all required compliance training to include BSA.

Responsible for hiring employees, directing work assignments, performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees.

Ensure understanding of the Performance Management system and company-wide objectives.

Manage daily activities of a financial center.

Responsible for audit compliance as well as security, safety and maintenance of financial center assigned.

Education and Experience
Minimum requirements:

Two or more years of successful management experience.

Possess strong sales, interpersonal, leadership, oral and written communication skills.

Strong computer proficiency with at least an intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Eligible to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System.
