Position Summary: Designs, developments, and maintains dashboards, reports, and data solutions that provide critical insights to business stakeholders. Working collaboratively in a team environment, the role transforms raw data into meaningful value using tools such as PowerBI and SQL. Analyzes data to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies. Consults with users or decision makers to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources (internal and/or external).
- Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in maintaining and improving data models and visualization standards.
- Work with IT to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Create, edit and update IT documentation including but not limited to report requirements, software/systems logic and/or process documentation.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 0-2 years developing Business Intelligence Reports in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Basic experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Preferred: Internship or academic project in building BI solutions in a real-world manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with DAX (PowerBI) or data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schema).
- Preferred: Exposure to Excel, Python, or ETL tools.

- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
- Required to occasionally stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 20 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Safety Equipment:
- Safety glasses are always required on the production floor.
- Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
