Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of the receiving department. Ensures the receipt and disposition of merchandise and inventory in the club, including processing paperwork, verifying merchandise, comparing receipts against purchase orders, and checking for damaged products/concealed shortages. Makes sure policies and procedures are followed within the department.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
Maintains the operations of the receiving department, including matching received inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies in received inventory
Processes inbound and outbound shipments. Ensures all product pricing and signage is displayed
Makes sure all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
Processes damaged/defective merchandise, including hazardous materials.
Completes receiving documents and other daily reports.
Re-stocks items and supplies as needed and alerts management of shortages
Communicates health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to the management
Attends all informational meetings
Participates in month end inventory and bi-yearly inventory
Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs for The Quin
Assists in providing training opportunities for team new members.
Performs all other related duties as assigned

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing/receiving.
- Experience in hotel or restaurants preferred.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English, second language is a plus.
- Detail oriented, great prioritization, planning and follow up skills.
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation, and demonstrated knife skills and safe food handling practices preferred.
- Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
