Primary Responsibilities

The Quin Ambassador supports the direction and administration of Front Office, Rooms Reservations and Housekeeping departments. The Quin Ambassador is responsible for representing The Quin brand, supporting the department in achieving the operational and financial goals, maintaining the facilities in accordance with The Quin standards, and ensuring high member and guest satisfaction.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • Provide leadership and instill a culture and work environment based upon respect; providing opportunities for staff to learn, grow and develop their abilities through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
  • Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines for The Quin House
  • Maintain rooms inventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and rate management
  • Champion initiatives to increase member satisfaction
  • Ensure accurate check in and check out
  • Solve basic folio and billing discrepancies
  • Run daily systems audit as needed
  • Maintain composure under pressure and thrive in a fast paced work environment
  • Collaborate with the assignments of housekeeping staff
  • Address, communicate, and resolve all member complaints
  • Report any maintenance repairs to maintenance staff, record repair information in maintenance log
  • Complete follow-up on vacant or occupied room requests
  • Assume functions of other Club roles as necessary
  • Handle all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism - accommodating special requests whenever possible; assisting members in all inquiries in connection with The Club services, hours of operations, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Respond to all member requests and inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure communication of vendors, restaurants, museums, and other local attractions is updated and current.
  • Establish close relationships with vendors throughout the city to provide a unique, personalized member experience
  • Monitor the fire alarm panel; respond to any emergency, such as providing access to emergency personnel - fire department, ambulance, etc.
  • Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
  • Assume additional tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or any manager of The Quin that are reasonable requests
 
Position Requirements

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2-3 years of progressive hotel front desk or similar guest facing experience
  • Startup/opening of hotels experience preferred
  • Service oriented with professional presentations skills
  • Proven ability as a leader in a team environment, embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, excellent prioritization, time management, organizational and follow up skills
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment Legislation
  • Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, additional languages are a plus
