JOB SUMMARY

The Post-Harvest Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. The Post-Harvest Associate will also be responsible for equipment sanitization and sterilization as well as maintaining facilities cleanliness.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Manicuring cannabis in preparation for packaging Accurately weigh and record post-harvest material sand cannabis products
  • Follow Standard Operating procedures for debucking, trimming, grinding, drying, and curing cannabis harvests in preparation for oil extraction and/or flower sales
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
  • Precise hand trimming will be required for flower sales
  • Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning in a clean room manufacturing environment to maintain required standards
  • Responsible for organizing work areas and performing daily tasks such as washing and sanitizing equipment and racking systems Responsible for weighing, filling, and packaging work related to flower products using aseptic technic so that no contamination is introduced into the process or material
  • Sanitization and sterilization of post-harvest processing equipment such as stainless-steel racks and shelves
  • Routine and real time visual quality inspection of cannabis products for correct product consistency while trimming
  • Accurately weigh/count and record cannabis products
  • Comply with all applicable government regulations and Company policies and procedures, including sanitation, security, workplace safety, and confidentiality, among others
  • Participate in upfront and ongoing training to master skills needed to complete relevant tasks
  • Identify and communicate issues and assist in troubleshooting, identifying potential solutions, and in implementing and monitoring corrective actions
  • Help prepare for audits and assist state and local governmental auditors and law enforcement with their audits as needed
  • Track data to comply with applicable rules and to support management decision-making
  • Contribute ideas to help improve Company's choices for ingredients, equipment and methodologies, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials
  • Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to internal SOP and state regulation
  • Strong emphasis on documentation according to state regulations
  • Adhere to the departmental, site and safety policies

  • Basic Excel, Word, and general compute knowledge

  • Must be 21 years or older and pass any and all required pre-employment screenings
  • Full knowledge of all applicable law, regulations, and requirements to keep the facility at 100% compliance at all times, this includes being up to date on any changes to current applicable laws/regulations
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
  • Must have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
