General Statement of Duties: • Under the direction of the Crew Coordinator Team Lead, assists with the administration of a range of human resource programs and services. Supervision Received: • Supervisor(s) as indicated in offer letter; reporting to the Crew Coordinator Team Lead. Supervision Exercised: • Functional supervision of assigned professional, technical, and clerical staff when carrying out requisite duties. Performance Standards: (Standards to include, but are not limited to the following) • Recruit for positions on the rigs as per requests by the Crew Coordinator Team Lead. • Sort and screen resumes and applications. • Input new recruits into applicant database and add successful candidates to the Hot List. • Interview potential candidates for employment. • Perform reference checks. • Schedule pre-employment testing for candidates. • Book qualified applicants for 2 day Orientation. • Work closely with the Crew Coordinators to assist them in finding suitable candidates. • Go through Employee packages with candidates and help them complete if necessary. • On Call if necessary by being in contact with the Crew Coordinators after normal working hours and on weekends. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong interpersonal skills. • Good organization and time management skills. • Leadership ability. • Good analytical and problem solving skills. • Strong computer and administration skills. Competency Level: • Employee receives both functional and organizational training. Education and Experience: • High School diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years experience, preference towards drilling industry experience.
