Retail Solutions is a small, ‘boutique’ merchandising company and is the Lead merchandising company for a fast-growing natural food grocery chain. We look for merchandisers who, like us, are a ‘cut above’ average! Immediate opening available for an ON CALL/ASSISTANT Grocery Reset Merchandiser in Prescott & Prescott Valley, AZ. Mon/Tues & Thurs/Fri; 5-6am start time; 12-26 hours a week of work; $14-$15/hr DOE Responsibilities: Execute retail merchandising tasks such as grocery, vitamin, HBA resets and new item cut ins, encompassing the ability to read and understand plan-o-grams and schematic layouts Strong execution skills with the ability to meet challenging/changing deadlines, working within time guidelines and demonstrated ability to follow detailed procedures and processes consistently Ability to interface effectively with clients, leadership and managers in a positive, cooperative and professional manner at all times High collaboration, engagement and customer service focus Accurately report all completed retail tasks via the appropriate designated systems on the day the work is performed Provide excellent customer service and develop a professional working relationship with store management, associates and other merchandising companies to effectively meet company and client objectives Ensure proper maintenance on all company equipment Follow company policies, procedures, and position responsibilities Note: This job description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks that may be performed. Prior retail/grocery reset or merchandising experience Ability to effectively and accurately complete reset, audit correct and new item cut in work activities as scheduled Communicate effectively with store (client) personnel/management, regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions and client sales plan objectives Reliable transportation - must be able to transport yourself and required product/materials (if needed) from your residence to execute a variety of work Hours of Operations & Availability Typical hours of operation are Mon/Tues & Thurs/Fri starting at 5 am with occasional projects requiring evening schedules depending on the store. Schedules subject to change due to store inventory dates. Availability preferences: This is an ON CALL/ ASSISTANT position. Availability requested is Mon/Tues & Thurs/Fri , with availability to work: 2-4 days/week, 6-8+ hour days, starting at 5am, on an AS NEEDED basis. (Not all weeks will be scheduled, as this position backs up our Lead Merchandiser during heavy workload weeks) Computer and Technology Proficiency Basic computer literacy-using: MS Word, Outlook & Internet Explorer Regular access to a computer or printer (to check email, complete training & print documents, complete reports) Ability to navigate and utilize a tablet and or smartphone technology, g. photo uploads & using apps Reliable Internet access Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balance. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds and to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds from the floor to waist or chest high. Resets: can be very physical in nature. Reset activities could include: removing items from the shelf, moving shelves, building fixtures and displays, reorganizing the products according to the Plano-gram provided, replacing shelf tags, filling in new products and retrieving additional stock when necessary.
