We have an opportunity for a Software Test Engineer for a DHS client. This position is fully remote working with a DHS Client in Washington, DC.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver incremental functional releases of the environment in accordance with the government-approved, contractor-developed, environment design and release schedule
  • Assess the completeness, traceability, and consistency of all interface requirements
  • Develop automated testing scripts
  • Develop test scenarios and test scripts
  • Trace requirements to test cases to ensure coverage for full system integration test
  • Ensure functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities
  • Identify and define external operational and technical interface requirements
  • Conduct operational and performance tests to confirm that the environments meet functional requirements, user expectations, and performance specifications
 
Position Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with understanding of test concepts, methodologies, and practices.
  • Experience with automated and performance testing tools and practices.
  • Experience with automated regression test scripts.
  • Experience in Federal Government software testing.
  • Excellent analytical and assessment skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • US Citizenship required. 
  • Active DOD Secret or Federal Agency Public Trust preferred. 
  • Ability to obtain Federal Agency suitability clearance required.

***This position is 100% remote, however applicant must be local to the DMV area for potential travel to client meetings.***

 
Clearance Requirement US Citizenship required. Active DOD Secret or Federal Agency Public Trust preferred. Ability to obtain Federal Agency suitability clearance required.
