We’re a group of 85 dedicated people helping schools prevent bullying, school violence and self-harm such as cutting and suicide. The work is unequivocally worthwhile - we’ve saved over 530 student lives thus far this academic year alone.

Gaggle is looking for a versatile in-house designer tasked with creating a recognizable and consistent brand. The designer will be responsible for all creative elements in support of Marketing, Sales, and the Company as a whole. The designer should be someone with a range of skills and an eagerness to learn new tools. We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, has experience working within a marketing team, and is a strategic thinker.

Although this is a remote role, candidates who reside in Philadelphia/Surrounding Suburbs, the Chicago Metro area or the Central Illinois region are highly preferred. Relocation is not required for this role, but please note that we are only seriously considering candidates from these locations at this time.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all creative elements needed to execute marketing campaigns, as well as pieces needed to support the Sales and Implementation teams including brand guidelines, ebooks and reports, social media and blog post imagery, advertisements, infographics, trade show materials, and more

  • Produce clean and modern design from ideation to completion

  • Create high-quality corporate videos including testimonials and product demos

  • Lend a critical eye to the UI/UX team for small projects and critique

  • Propose and design cutting-edge ways to share our brand story and engage customers

  • Participate in campaign strategy

  • Corporate Projects: Create elements for themed company parties and events, including T-shirts, invites, posters, etc.

  • Ensure quality Gaggle image, message, and brand are maintained in all designated activities

  • Support Marketing Team, Marketing Vice President, Sales team, and entire Gaggle Team

Technical Requirements:

  • Adobe Design products including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Video production tools including AfterEffects, Premiere, and Audition* (experience or willingness to learn)

  • Update and Design for CRMs like WordPress, Unbounce, Mailchimp, and Hubspot* (experience or willingness to learn)

  • Sketch or other UI tools* (experience or willingness to learn)

  • Google communication tools including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, etc

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidates must have full-time, remote work capacity (home office); ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across disparate time zones and offices

  • 4-year program with a BFA or BS in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Advertising, or Multimedia Design

  • 3-5 years' design experience ideally within an in-house marketing department

  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of 7-10 pieces of work

  • Excellent writing skills required

  • High technology competency across platforms; proficient navigating within Google/G-Suite

  • Eager and excited to test new ways to share our brand story, engage customers, and drive results

  • Ability to toggle between strategy and execution daily; not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with high detail orientation and the ability to multi-task and collaborate with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work independently; must be highly resourceful, responsible, timely, consistent, and deadline-driven

  • Ability to work flexible hours as dictated by needs; travel (approximately 10%) is required

  • Ability to receive and give information in a courteous manner over the telephone, via video conference, via electronic communication, or in person
