Position Requirements
  • Knowledge of specialized principles or techniques equivalent to those that would normally be obtained through a formal four-year college/university academic program or an in-depth specialized training program directly related to the type of work to be performed.
  • 5 – 7 years of progressive responsibility in Human Resources
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
 
Description

The Human Resources Director will partner with leaders at levels and from all functions to develop and implement strategies in alignment with FeraDyne’s goals and culture. The HRD will take leadership for the following areas:

Change Management

  • Work closely with leadership to develop, implement and execute communication plans regarding key initiatives and changes
  • Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to address opportunities to improve attendance, turnover and engagement

Employee Development and Performance Management

  • Assess current annual performance review process for effectiveness
  • Develop and implement a regular talent review process with outcomes that include identification of high potential employees and assignment of development opportunities and succession plans

Recruiting

  • Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to attract and retain top talent and achieve budgeted headcounts
  • Develop, communicate and facilitate processes to identify, screen and onboard new hires

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance to leaders on the employee relations issues ensuring consistency
  • Administer FMLA, unemployment and workers compensation
