Forklift certification a plus This job may require operator to stand, walk and drive a forklift. Must be able to lift between 50 to 70 pounds. Produce at level to maintain integrity of Make-To-Order system. Work Environment Manufacturing plant; fast paced with production assembly line; clean and safe work area; non air-conditioned facility.   Description Summary Provides the highest level of customer service with a focus on quality and efficiency to ensure that our customers get the best quality product on time when they want it. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 - 4:30. Overtime required during peak months of May - September. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reading, understanding and assisting with completion of various paperwork and reports to determine service and shipping requirements for the day. Executing the quality control processes to ensure shipping accuracy 100%. Executing all shipping tasks needed to assure we achieve quality standards, efficiency standards and service expectations of our customers. Knowledge of current computer shipping systems through training and ongoing continued training required. Assisting packaging when the need arrises, assisting assembly when required and helping with receiving when needed. Loading of trucks, moving pallets of inventory, boxing of product and cycle counting raw material as well as finished goods. Assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy; assist in cycle counting activity. Assessing department daily for safety, quality, service and waste concerns. Involving any necessary associates to address issues immediately. Because of changes that may occur in manufacturing processes and/or methods, and because of quality or productivity requirements, associate may be required to perform additional job duties.
