Certified Power is focused on growth by providing the highest level of quality and service to an expanding customer base.   Category Warehouse Operations   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Burnsville   Description POSITION SUMMARY: Certified Power Solutions, a leader in Fluid Power Distribution, is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time, day shift, Monday - Friday opening in our brand-new distribution warehouse located in Fridley, MN. This is a high level warehouse position in that new hires will be expected to perform a wide variety of duties. Main Responsibilities include shipping and receiving of products, packing, pulling parts for production, cycle counting, and general inventory management & control. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares shipments, and determines customer preferred shipping method or most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to insure safe delivery. Assign staff daily responsibilities for assembly and shipments Prepares Bills of Lading; checks items to be shipped and tag and barcode as applicable. Light assembly and product modifications. Put away incoming products. Assist counter sales Receive and inspect incoming parts, checking for accuracy and product quality. Maintain warehouse equipment. Does cycle counting. Any other duties or responsibilities required or assigned.   Position Shipping/Receiving Associate   Position Requirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED. Candidates should possess the following qualifications: A team player with a positive attitude Prior warehouse experience putting away, picking, and packing material Ability to maintain strong attention to detail with frequent interruptions Knowledge of inventory control Experience with pulling complex orders for production and sales Proficient with shipping & receiving software as part of an ERP or MRP solution Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Knowledge of UPS and/or FEDEX shipping software Ability to accurately and completely fill out bill of lading forms Ability to stand on feet for prolonged periods of time (8 hours) Ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds Certified Fork Lift Operator or ability to receive certification within 60 days of employment Ability to communicate effectively with other Associates Ability to give and receive feedback in regards to job processes and improvements The new permanent location is located in Fridley MN and is under construction. Until construction is complete (approximately Sept 1) new hires will be trained in our Burnsville location. Preferred candidates will have some technical background and experience working in an ISO9001: 2015 certified company.
