Alternatives, Inc. is a community corrections program that operates three facilities and two satellite offices. We serve a client population that consists of those in need of assessment, treatment, residential re-entry services and community jail alternatives. Alternatives is a non-profit organization that contracts with Montana Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Probation Office, Department of Public Health and Human Services and local governments in our community. We employ approximately 165 staff and provide on the job training.
Client Advisors (CA) are responsible for the welfare, accountability, safety, and health of the residents and staff in the facility. CAs conduct all security checks as well as complete all security functions on all in house residents and community clients. This position plays an integral role in the rehabilitation of Alternatives, Inc. residents and clients by modeling appropriate behavior and reinforcing positive behavior. A day in this position might include: checking residents in/out of the facility, head counts, substance use monitoring through observation and performing urine analysis testing, conducting various security searches, and security monitoring of the facility.

Starting wage is $13.00 per hour. (This position has an implemented level system, where a $0.50 increase is given upon completion of each level.)
