Accounting Assistant (Remote)

About the Organization Warrior-Scholar Project (WSP) runs immersive, one to two week long college preparatory programs for current and former servicemembers pursuing higher education. These academic boot camps are hosted at America's top universities and are offered at no cost to the student-veteran participant. WSP participants are not only guided by dedicated senior university faculty at our host institutions, but also by WSP program staff; all of whom are highly successful student-veterans who have already transitioned from the military to college. During this intensive week, our Warrior-Scholars attend about 80 hours of seminar discussions, workshops, and one-one-one tutoring sessions covering analytic reading, college-level writing, and other academic and tactical skills crucial to success in higher education. WSP program staff also provide mentorship and support for our participants, addressing not only academic challenges, but also cultural challenges typically faced by veterans during the transition from military service to college.

WSP is looking for Accounting Assistant to review and process expense reports and reimbursements, enter financial transactions into our internal databases, and reconcile transactions. If you have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or are a current student enrolled in an Accounting program and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we'd like to meet you. Your skill set will be an asset to our organization, keeping our Accounting department running smoothly and ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
