Email Opening Title Recycling Coordinator  Close Date   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Description The individual will work approximately 20 hours per week.  This position includes a 5-day work week with some evenings and some weekends being a part of the position.  The recycling facility is open 6 days a week and this individual will be included on Saturday rotations as part of the job.    The ability to lift items above your head and into a bin and trailer is required.  This position assists the Recycling Coordinator in emptying recycling bins, attending recycling events, manning the recycling facility during the week and on Saturdays.  Monitoring recycling bins on weekends is also a possibility. This position is subjected to extreme temperatures and the elements.  The recycling center is open year-round.    Position Recycling Coordinator   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The ability to lift items above your head and into a bin and trailer is required.  Demonstrated basic knowledge of recycling concepts and principals. Skill in working productively with public officials, local agency administrators, division staff members and the general public. Ability to work tactfully with individuals and groups and to coordinate the work of community organizations. Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions. Ability to read, understand and interpret a variety of rules, regulations, and procedures contained in federal and state legislation and agency manuals. Ability to represent county in a professional manner. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to take directions, both written and oral.
