Description

Cervello Technologies is seeking a Supportability Projects Officer in Morris County, New Jersey to provide acquisition logistics and product support for ammunition and weapon systems programs.

JOB DUTIES / EXPERTISE:

  • Provide Integrated Product Support (IPS) to the assigned acquisition program(s) utilizing the twelve (12) IPS elements to facilitate development and integration of key product support activities during the development of Army materiel solutions.
  • Execute tasks to influence and support system design in order to achieve an optimal life cycle operational readiness, while minimizing total ownership costs.
  • Responsible for generating acquisition logistics documentation in accordance with the applicable Government documents.
  • Ensures that product support strategies are integrated into product-wide design and are properly incorporated into design documentation.
  • Incorporate product support strategies in 100% of all design documents and achieve a 95% utilization rate of the strategies.
  • Monitor product support strategies that are integrated into design documents to determiner utilization rates as well as capturing lesson learned.
  • Support issue resolutions by developing corrective action plans (CAPS) as needed and coordinating with program stakeholders for final resolution.
  • Provide logistics support cost estimations that support each product support element and portions of the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) estimates.
  • Deliver cost estimations per the time frame set by requestor.
  • Provide recommendations to the developing solutions to lower the LCC and improve materiel readiness utilizing Excel.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Supportability Integrated Product Team (SIPT) meetings for assigned programs.
  • Generate documents such as presentations, schedules, estimates, and provide briefing updates as requested.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires functional knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements
  • Development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) estimates
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • 10 years’ experience
