You will actively close sales, provide exceptional customer service, and become an intricate component of our fundraising efforts. You will develop, directs and executes strategies for building non-dues revenue for THA and Family of Companies through sponsorships, exhibits and advertising sales. Serves as the project manager and primary contact for sponsorships and exhibits for all meetings, conferences, and all events and primary contact for sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers. Establishes and grows strategic relationships with businesses and vendors who are interested in reaching the Texas hospital market.Excellent verbal and written communication skills & effective organization and time management skills.Ability to travel 15% of the time. Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if driving for THA related business
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in a related field.
Minimum five years demonstrated success in development, exhibit management & fundraising and/or sales experience.
Must demonstrate effective use of project planning, project management, communication, public relations, leadership, organizational and people skills.
Working knowledge in meeting planning and negotiating contracts within the hospitality industry preferred.
Excellent demonstrated application knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Q software experience or working knowledge of association databases. CRM experience is a plus
CEM or similar certification preferred.
