Health Care Proposal Writer Hinduja Global Solutions Lisle, IL (Suburb of Chicago) POSITION SUMMARY: The Health Care Proposal Writer supports the health care sales departments by writing a variety of proposals, outcomes reports, scientific articles, chapters and other research communications required to grow health care related sales for the Hinduja Global organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES: Provide consultation to Sales and Development staff on scientific writing projects. Pro-actively seek and secure required information from HGS internal departments and other sources. Write narrative and collateral material for the production of funding applications and reports. Works under RFP submission deadlines to facilitate timely proposal submissions. Assist Sales Department with the writing and production of research related materials. Assist the research leadership as needed in the coordination / support of research activities and special projects. Schedule and attend meetings with health care marketing and sales as needed to identify proposals and their associated timelines. Coordinating / supporting communications projects identified by Sales leadership. Identifies and solves complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. Impacts the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams. Develops and recommends solutions to existing challenges that can be adopted broadly within the organization. Clearly and accurately conveys complex (potentially sensitive or controversial) information. Has developed breadth and/or specialized skills in a range of processes, procedures and systems, or acts as the technical expert within the discipline. Uses knowledge of how related teams impact achievement of objectives; regularly interacts with other teams. Provides advanced subject matter guidance to more junior team members; may allocate work to less experienced colleagues EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-3 years of RFP writing experience, Required Minimum 3-5 years of professional writing experience, Preferred Healthcare and grant writing experience, Preferred EDUCATION: Four-year Bachelor's degree in Communication, English or Journalism, Required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sedentary - Exerting up to 10lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time. |
