We are currently seeking candidates who are pursuing a Master’s or PhD’s degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences and related majors. Senior undergrads may be considered if shown competency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • This summer internship will work in Clinical Immunology and Bioanalysis to help improve the current immunogenicity assay performance.
  • Learn the basics of bioanalysis in drug development. Design and perform immunoassays under supervision of experienced scientists. Analyze and review the assay results. Troubleshoot if assays run into issues.
  • Summarize and present the assay improvement work to a scientific group.
  • The intern will also get the opportunity to network with people at Astrazeneca through various planned events and activities.

Position Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Master’s or PhD’s degree in biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences and related majors. Senior undergrads may be considered if shown competency
  • At least one year of lab experience. Able to run experiments independently
  • Excellent communication skills and self-autonomy
 
Position Requirements

To participate in the AstraZeneca Intern Program,

Students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program, returning to the academic program following AstraZeneca assignment
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0 preferred
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
