We’re ArenaNet—we’ve created a studio that makes online worlds infused with innovation, hand-crafted excellence, and creative passion. We're not the only ones who share this passion; gamers made Guild Wars 2 the fastest selling MMO game in the West with more than 3 million copies sold in its first 9 months, and players and press have consistently called it one of the best MMOs of all time.
As a game developer that constantly strives to innovate, our studio is built on a foundation of excellence with a focus on community. We're unlocking the true potential of online role-playing with game-changing titles like Guild Wars 2. The status quo isn’t good enough for the dedicated worldwide community of GW2 players, which is why we question industry conventions and demand more from ourselves as developers.
Do you want to be a part of the engineering team at a studio dedicated to bucking conventions, to building vibrant online worlds, to constantly searching for the next genre to reshape? ArenaNet is always looking for excellent programmers to join us on our mission to be a paragon of our industry.
As a programmer at ArenaNet, you'll have the opportunity to help shape our technology and solve compelling software engineering problems across a multitude of domains. You'll work on cross-discipline teams to create innovative gameplay, exhilarating graphics, or server architectures on a scale that other games can only dream about. Our programmers own the full life-cycle of the features they develop, and build them in a collaborative environment that encourages growth, learning and mentorship.
ArenaNet was founded by programmers; we are a company of doers, dedicated to our craft, and we put decision-making in the hands of the people who are closest to the issues and thus best suited to make the right choices.
