We are looking for a Senior Accountant to help manage and support our finance/accounting department.  The ideal candidate will have experience working within the digital media and/or luxury industry, have excellent business sense and acumen, and will be a natural numbers wizard.


  • Facilitate and manage the month-end close process and prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
  • Oversee the entire A/P process, ensuring bills have been properly approved and recorded, A/P aging report has been reviewed and any open bill issues have been resolved
  • Oversee the entire A/R process, making sure invoices are sent out in a timely manner, total amounts invoiced agree to fulfilled IO’s, A/R aging schedule is frequently reviewed and efforts are continually made to seek payment from customers
  • Maintain fixed asset schedule and record depreciation and amortization journal entries
  • Prepare monthly payroll journal entries
  • Assist with the calculation, payment, and accrual of Media and eCommerce commissions
  • Oversee the monthly eCommerce sales reconciliation process and calculation of deferred revenue
  • Manage the monthly expense report process, ensuring submissions are timely, expenses are properly classified, and accounts are properly reconciled
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances versus plan and prior forecast
  • Assist in managing the relationship and deliverables of various financing arrangements
  • Assist in the calculation, presentation and communication of companywide KPI’s
  • Assist with financial and tax audits
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
  • Other projects as assigned 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory
  • 4/5+ years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus, but not required
  • Experience in media and/or ecommerce preferred
  • Experience using Netsuite, MS Access and other SaaS solutions highly preferred
  • MS Excel power user
