UrbanDaddy's success has attracted world-class advisors, management and employees.   Description For this project, you will be responsible for writing descriptions for bars, restaurants, and nightlife venues in Charlotte. You’ll work closely with our Creative and Editorial teams to ensure copy is in line with the UD voice, and will be heavily involved with the brainstorming and testing phases of the app’s launch.   The project will last approximately 8 weeks and is a fantastic opportunity to work with the UD team on a growing product that will be new to the Charlotte market.   Responsibilities: Write short, snappy venue descriptions that are in line with the UD voice and tone Brainstorm with The Next Move team, finding appropriate bars and restaurants for listing Be involved in the testing phase before it launches to the public   Position Requirements Ability to start ASAP Bachelor’s degree – Journalism or English preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of the restaurant and nightlife scene in Charlotte required Solid writing experience, preferably in nightlife/lifestyle A strong understanding of the UD voice and brand A sharp and witty sense of humor that shines through in writing A desire to be involved with an entrepreneurial company Talent, plain and simple    To be considered, please submit resume, a cover letter explaining why you’re the best candidate for the job, and samples of your work.     This position is currently not accepting applications.
