The Technology Manager is responsible for actively overseeing the development, maintenance and administration of all business systems.

While primarily focusing on project management related to the Yardi Voyager accounting and property management platform, the Technology Manager also takes ownership of day-to-day technical support for network infrastructure, internal desktop systems software and hardware.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure continued performance of Yardi platforms including: Voyager, Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting, Payscan and Orion.
  • Develop, review and maintain organizational standards and strategies for hardware, operating systems, databases and software applications.
  • Formalize policies, procedures and documentation of all technology systems
  • Provide responsive, timely support to all end-user questions and support requests.
  • Develops custom SQL, SSRS and business intelligence reporting as required.
  • Manage 3rd party consulting relationships
  • Desktop support of all company standard applications, including, but not limited to, Windows XP/7/8, Office 2010/2013, associated applications, ESET Antivirus, Outlook and communication applications
  • Work directly with server/infrastructure support team to resolve difficult problems including LAN, WAN and special application issues
  • Perform installation, configuration and upgrades of desktop hardware and software as determined by office and company established procedures
  • Responsible for adhering to company established security procedures
  • Responsible for all office peripheral equipment and its proper maintenance, including printers, phones and audiovisual equipment
  • Manage desktop support personnel
Position Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have at least 7 - 10 years technology experience with at least 3 years experience in a corporate environment.
  • Prior experience with a top tier ERP required.  Yardi experience a plus. 
  • Prior project management experience a plus. 
  • A+, Cisco or Microsoft Certifications preferred but not required.
  • Candidate needs to have strong interpersonal communication, organizational and technical skills to include a high understanding of customer service
  • Advanced knowledge of Finance/Accounting concepts
  • Experience coordinating the resources and activities of multi-location enterprise networks such as cloud based systems, Internet based VoIP, VLANs and virtual machines
  • Hardware troubleshooting/repair experience (PC's, laptops, printers, projectors, other peripherals) VOIP extension management.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems.
  • Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include on-call support
