Summary

The ultimate goal of the position is to ensure that ABC fulfills its obligation to its customers and exceeds client expectations for support. Therefore, the Account Manager's primary responsibility is to effectively manage the customer relationship, employing a relationship strategy that creates significant long term value for the clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the client lifecycle of assigned accounts with less than $30,000 monthly membership billing. Dollar amount may vary based on ABC and club needs.

  • Manage, delegate and inspect client issues with department leadership

  • Work with ABC upper management to resolve issues when necessary

  • Participate and fully invest in the software development process where appropriate

  • Teach and reinforce clients how to get the most out of their relationship with ABC

  • Provide clients with specialized software and system training when necessary

  • Establish and maintain a complete solutions library

  • Monitor and manage assigned support questions and the Client Portal

  • Up Sell/Cross Sell and educate on all aspects and features of ABC and Datatrak

  • Oversee and supply leadership for FST customer visits related to assigned cases

  • Participate in saving troubled accounts

  • Represent ABC at tradeshows and industry functions

  • Proactively create opportunities to educate and mingle with clients in region meetings and client gatherings

  • Maintain an EXPERT level understanding of all client facing software and systems

  • Provide weekly summaries to Department Management concerning cases and clients

  • Use CRM as required to track client interaction and activity

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Must be able to travel up to 2 days a month or more as required

  • Must be dedicated to be available on-call 24/7

  • Must be an excellent communicator

  • Must be committed to constant follow up with clients

  • Must be able to coordinate and maintain several projects with multiple deadlines

  • Must be able to effectively work across multiple departments to resolve customer issues

  • Must be an excellent problem solver

  • Ability to learn and implement technical skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Basic knowledge of data management software

  • Must be customer-focused and service oriented

  • Must be self-motivated

  • Ability to make independent decisions and take calculated risks

Travel Requirements Up to 2 days a month (Could be more depending on client requirements).
