Position Purpose:
To sell area farmers top quality nutritional products and services for all livestock, poultry, and companion animals. In addition the position provides input and participates in the marketing, planning, and technical development of products and services.

Location and Sales Territory: We are looking for Top Sales Reps in multiple locations!

(Preferred locations, but not limited to: OH, MI, PA, WV, NY, KY, TN, IL, WI, IA, MN, MO, NC)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determining market strategies & goals for each product and service
• Calling on farmers to sell feeding programs and provide technical expertise
• Market research to determine customer needs
• Evaluating product & service marketability
• Following up on sales leads and making cold calls
• Establishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
• Keep up to date on competitor information to maximize sales
• Establishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships
• Acting to close deals & finalize contacts
• Meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals
• Resolving problems with products and services

Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field preferred
• Feed Sales experience preferred or Sales experience in related field
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Well-developed presentation skills
• Self-Motivated
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
