Position Description: Chief of Staff

As a direct report to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief of Staff acts as an adviser to senior management staff, assisting the CEO in facilitating effective decision-making. The Chief of Staff coordinates the execution of strategic initiatives. The Chief of Staff is responsible for assessing inquiries directed to the CEO, determining the proper course of action and delegating to the appropriate individual for management. This position ensures that all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and tracking progress through to resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and represent Provider Resources Inc., (PRI) mission, vision, and values to all internal and external customers
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, synthesizing information and providing recommendations on strategic matters.
  • Interact with project team members in order to successfully fulfill contract obligations with the highest quality and in a timely manner meeting PRITM 's ISO requirements
  • Instills integrity throughout the organization via active participation in ISO requirements including but not limited to timely submission of Corrective Action Plans for all matters in which either PRITM standards and/or corporate contract standards have not been met. Communicating outcomes to team members to ensure a positive, open, environment which mitigates risk and achieves a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement.
  • Leading high-priority projects, ensuring execution against company objectives, and tracking progress on key performance metrics.
  • Manage executive level communications, internal messaging, and ensuring the leadership team is aligned on strategic goals.
  • Engage clients in appropriate communication that manages client expectations and builds a collaborative relationship with the client.
  • Interact with government and private sector clients, partners, and PRI staff in a professional and accountable manner, and as a representative of PRI.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information that pertains to client issues
  • Prepare and analyze a variety of standard and/or special reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
  • Conducts research; perform analyses and summarize data to facilitate interpretation or to highlight key aspects/trends
  • May prepare written reports and/or present data to management
  • Perform other duties as requested

 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA Degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams and performing high-level business analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Effective, versatile and action-oriented
  • High level of discretion, required to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Proficient user in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task - able to track and control activity on a variety of tasks
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent time management skills
  • Professionalism – the ability to behave and communicate in an articulate and professional manner
  • Resourcefulness – the desire to do whatever is necessary to help the team
  • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy; Integrity is required
  • Ability to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Must have no conflict of interest (COI) as defined in 1154(b)(1) of the Social Security Act (SSA)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance
