About the Organization TGS provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas Exploration and Production companies worldwide. In addition to extensive global geophysical and geological data libraries that include multi-client seismic data, magnetic and gravity data, digital well logs, production data and directional surveys, TGS also offers advanced processing and imaging services, interpretation products, permanent reservoir monitoring and data integration solutions.

Work with TGS Marketing Services staff to plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communications problems. Develop the most effective way to get our message across in print and electronic/digital media utilizing color, type, illustration, photography, animation, interactive elements and various print and layout techniques, while maintaining brand standards. This position reports to the Corporate Marketing Manager.


  • Design, manipulate and animate multimedia projects for the corporate and product line needs of the Company
  • Liaise with management and marketing staff regarding marketing material and generation
  • Proficient use of graphic packages Adobe Creative Cloud (CC): InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks as well as Microsoft Suite of Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher to produce Flyers / Brochures/ Adverts / Email blasts / Microsites / Apps / Posters and any other marketing material
  • An understanding of video editing techniques and procedures
  • Possesses a working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Flash for web needs as well as an understanding of web and email compliance standards
  • A working knowledge of Pre-press procedures, document formatting and an ability to perform press checks as needed
  • An understanding of the process involved in the creation and updating Interactive documents using Creative Cloud
  • Assist with preparation of material for conferences/road shows
  • Maintain a library of all data images and photography that has been purchased or captured for use by other offices and marketing personnel
  • Maintain and update the corporate standards documentation in line with changes made within the department and to the satisfaction of superiors
  • Provide copywriting support and proofreading skills on information provided for advertising and other marketing projects
  • Participate in marketing department videoconference meetings
  • Handle additional marketing duties as they occur
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of other employees, and comply with all instructions given regarding health, safety and the protection of the environment
  • Ensure the correct use of safety devices and protective equipment as required and report any hazards, accidents or injuries to your immediate supervisor

  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Must have a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Graphic Design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks as well as a solid understanding MS Office, CSS, HTML, Flash, Camtasia and other design software
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to take on other tasks as required
  • Online and print portfolio
