About the Organization TGS provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas Exploration and Production companies worldwide. In addition to extensive global geophysical and geological data libraries that include multi-client seismic data, magnetic and gravity data, digital well logs, production data and directional surveys, TGS also offers advanced processing and imaging services, interpretation products, permanent reservoir monitoring and data integration solutions.

Description

SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, performs various data entry processes and data verification according to established procedures using data handling systems.   Coordinates the scheduling of client orders and works closely with departments to ensure that deliverables and customer needs are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of data entry and image software.
  • Ability to quality control and edit information as needed.
  • Keeps statistical information on a daily basis.
  • Start new client orders.
  • Set and track daily priorities.
  • Run multiple high level reports for managers.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding priority updates.
  • Communicate with Customer Support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • May work on weekends and/or various shifts per your Department Manager.
  • Ensures strict confidentiality of client records.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of other employees, and comply with all instructions given regarding health, safety and the protection of the environment.
  • Ensure the correct use of safety devices and protective equipment as required and report any hazards, accidents or injuries to your immediate supervisor.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D.  Previous computer knowledge is preferred.
  • Skilled in the use of SQL Server and Report Builder.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office specifically Excel and Access.
  • Knowledge of Russian documents would be beneficial.
  • Ability to do 10-Key.
  • Word processing and/or data entry skills.
  • Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Observe scheduled work hours.
  • Demonstrate punctuality.
