Description

The United States Census Bureau (USCB) requires support for operation and maintenance of the Information Technology (IT) systems and telecommunications infrastructure. The purpose of this task order is to obtain on-site services for IT service delivery and support to TCO (Telecommunications Office) in the following categories:

  • Information Systems Security (ISS)
  • System Operations and Maintenance (SOM)
  • Information Systems Engineering (ISE)

 

TASK DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the management, maintenance, and patching of NetIQ eDirectory services running on a Windows and RHEL Platform
  • Handle the troubleshooting and management of the NetIQ Access Management system and NetIQ Identity Management system
  • Provide Tier 3 level support Enterprise wide for all authentication and LDAP related issues
  • Provide administration and support for the enterprise eDirectory and Identity and Access Management systems in the lab, development, and production environments

 

 
Position Requirements • 5+ years of experience working in a Systems Administrator role
• 3 + years of eDirectory and Novell experience is required

• Systems Administration experience working with Novell/NetIQ eDirectory 8.8 (and above) running on Red Hat Linux 6 and Windows 2008 R2 is required
• Experience with maintenance, operation and creating accounts with eDirectory is required
• Systems Admin knowledge with Novell/NetIQ Identity Manager 3.6.x/4.0 and higher is required
• Extensive experience working with LDAP integration and authentication with eDirectory is required
• Proficient working within a virtual environment (VMWare) is required
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, with a willingness to assist other groups within the team when necessary
• Proficient with XML, LDAP, and x.500
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology is preferred
• Familiarity with PKI for certificate authentication and Smart Card certificate based authentication (HSPD-12 PIV Cards)
• Familiar with Single Sign-On technologies to include Kerberos, SAML, Access Manager
