Effective with the release of this announcement, Winrock International seeks applicants for the position of Program Associate for the Innovate Arkansas program.  The responsibilities, duties and qualifications for this position are described in the attached position description.

POSITION TITLE:               Program Associate 1, Innovate Arkansas Program

LOCATION:                         Little Rock, AR

DEPARTMENT:                  U. S. Programs

REPORTS TO:                    Vicki Malpass, Program Officer 2, Innovate Arkansas



The Program Associate will provide support to the Innovate Arkansas (IA) program of U.S. Programs by assisting with program implementation including project backstopping, handling administrative responsibilities and providing logistical support.



  • Assist with program implementation and project backstopping
    • Act as liaison between prospective and current Innovate Arkansas client companies and the IA staff.
    • Coordinate support of all Innovate Arkansas marketing information, including oversight of the Innovate Arkansas website functionality
    • Maintain project information, including maintenance of client files, databases, and project contracts/agreements.
    • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment
    • Assist in maintenance, design, and management of program assessment tools and surveys  that track the impact of the Innovate Arkansas program
    • Provide training and technical support to on-site and off-site IA staff, as needed
    • Process staff expense reports, vendor invoices, and wire transfer requests


  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Innovate Arkansas
    • Provide administrative support to the Director and Program Officer of the Innovate Arkansas program
    • Coordinate all Innovate Arkansas staff meeting schedules and agendas
    • Coordinate all Innovate Arkansas/U.S. Programs events as required
    • Prepare correspondence, travel authorizations, and all travel arrangements for Innovate Arkansas staff.
    • Assist in preparing reports
    • Edit documents as needed



  • Prepare correspondence and other communications
  • Conduct other relevant tasks as assigned
