Engineered Sales, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking an experienced Lubrication Business Account Manager desiring to leverage Fluid Power knowledge and take their sales career to the next level. We enjoy a strong position in this area, but there is also a great deal of untapped potential. You'll partner with an experienced inside sales team that has strong product, vendor, and system knowledge.
This position requires an understanding of the different types of equipment that apply lubrication/grease/oil to various types of machinery. This is not a lubrication sales position. We'll look to you to function as a business development expert, building relationships with customers throughout your territory.
More About Your Role Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow customer relationships within your territory. We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Lubrication Products and Applications Account Manager maintain and grow our current lubrication market in the St Louis vicinity. Your activities will include:
Our most successful sales professionals are those who acquire and maintain a solid knowledge of our products as well as of our customers' industries and applications for our products. To excel in this role you will exercise solid organization and time management skills, including following up and tracking lots of "loose ends" out on the road. You'll also take a proactive approach to growing the business, including increasing penetration in existing accounts and identifying and "landing" new prospects.
