We have an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional to work with a leading Colorado luxury magazine brand – Colorado Homes & Lifestyles.  We are looking for energetic, hard charging, goal oriented candidates.  Interested in the convergence of design, luxury print, traditional online and social media and want to get ahead of the traditional media community helping local companies grow?  If that sounds exciting, please reach out and meet us.  This is a unique opportunity to join a leading luxury magazine brand and push the media and marketing envelope.

 This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Generate sales for Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine: retain current advertisers, actively seek new business and develop assigned territories.
  • Sell CH&Ls product mix to include magazine print, sponsorship, on-line and Digital Sherpa.
  • Develop and implement customized marketing programs based on client strategy and goals.
  • Provide high level of customer service to current accounts and prospects
  • Build a successful pipeline of a minimum of 800 active prospects through: A) A minimum of 20 prospects/client phone calls per day or 100 calls/week (minimum). B) PLUS 10 face to face business appointments each week (2 with Publisher). C) Industry affiliations, networking and referrals. D) Prospecting through competitive magazines. E) Internet search engines and association/industry web sites.
  • Minimum of $25,000 new business sold per selling cycle
  • All client communication must be documented in Magazine Manager with correct information: name, address, email, category, priority, comp, etc
  • Use market share reports to identify key customers and missing advertisers for territories
  • Travel to territory as needed to ensure growth and retention within those assigned markets. 
  • Provide timely and accurate ABC projections to the Publisher on a weekly basis, reconcile with MM.
  • Always be prospecting. 
  • Establishment of profiles on FB, LinkedIN, Twitter and Pinterest accounts and daily interaction with them to promote the brand and to connect with clients on business opportunities. 
  • Submit advertiser artwork on or before production deadlines
  • Advise current client base regarding monthly Accounts Receivables

Position Requirements
  • At least 1 year experience with a successful sales track record
  • Positive attitude, team work, creativity, innovation and professionalism are a must
  • Problem solving skills based on the principles of our business
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced work environment
  • A fundamental understanding of marketing principles and how to apply them in a print, online and Social Media setting. 
  • College Degree in related field 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Web based Research
