College work in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
One year of IT experience required
Excellent knowledge of telephone systems, including VOIP and network topography.
Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
Excellent hardware and communications network troubleshooting experience.
Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Must have an ability to complete physically demanding work in all types of environments.
Other Essential Requirements:
Must pass drug test
Must be able to read and write effectively in English.
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along
with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved paid time off (PTO), attendance is considered
Must be able to work within the shift hours of 7:00a.m. and 5:00p.m.
Physical requirements – Position requires standing for extended periods of time and requires moderate amounts of walking. Must be able to carry 50lbs. Frequent requirements to climb ladders, roofs, & tall stationary structures. Must be comfortable with heights.
