The role of the Receiver/Inspector is to successfully perform activities related to the receipt and inspection of incoming material.  This included safely loading and unloading trucks, verifying part identification and quantities, performing incoming inspections, maintaining systems transactions, and delivering material to the appropriate person, department, or location.

  • Forklift operation (certified).
  • Ability to accurately count by hand or with use of scales.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge and use of inspection tools in use.
  • Blue Print reading for inspections.
  • One to Two years of product knowledge preferred.


  • Load/unload incoming or outgoing trucks from the receiving area.
  • Verify incoming product for quantity and inspect for any damage.
  • Perform system transactions to correctly record the reciept.
  • Identify parts with identification lables as required.
  • Inspect all incoming material according to inspection plans using the appropriate inspection tools.
  • Deliver product to appropriate person or area.
  • Maintain inventory storage locations in a clean and safe condition.
  • Rotate stock as required.
  • Perform other duties in the best interest of the company as required.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; and twelve months related experience.
  • Forklift Certification required (training provided).
  • One to Two years previous receiving experience or one to two years of LSI product knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work with and around others.
