Reporting to the Senior Director of Professional Services, come explore this exciting opportunity at Aclara where the successful candidate will support the implementation of Aclara’s STAR AMI product including deployment of hardware and software solutions components. This position will work with a team of project managers, integration engineers, developers and other analysts.


Essential functions & responsibilities of the Systems Analyst include:

  • Gathering and documenting business and functional requirements through client engagements
  • Preparing functional designs of product customizations and features
  • Gathering system data/metrics in support of performing complex data analysis tasks
  • Provide requirements and design interpretation to development resources during the development phase
  • Preparing test plans and scripts and executing test cases
  • Providing system support and troubleshooting during the implementation period
  • Working closely with customers and the implementation team to deliver successful implementations
  • Manage small to moderate sized implementations
  • Assist other departments with analysis and execution of project related deliverables

Position Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in technology or business discipline is required.  Four or more years of related work experience or a strong interest in building a career in the energy software industry is also required.  Candidates must knowledge of technical solution deployment methodologies, demonstrated verbal, writing, and presentation skills, and familiarity with relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL or Access.  Experience implementing Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, client or “customer-oriented” experience, and advanced analytical skills is also required to be considered.
