Position Human Resources Regional Manager  

Jacobson Companies currently has an opening for a Human Resources Regional Manager with responsibility for operations in multiple national locations, including but not limited to Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee.  We are looking for someone who will provide HR generalist support at our individual work sites.  The responsibilities involve interfacing and consulting with our management teams and employees.  The position requires an individual who can be instrumental in building a positive and efficient workforce.  


  • Consults with employees, managers and the executive leadership team to address human resources and business related issues such as: compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting and policy administration.
  • Play an integral role in the development of department goals, objectives, systems and functions.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations regarding human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Conducts employee relation investigations, identifies HR related issues, develops solutions and involves appropriate resources to provide a resolution.
  • Develops and delivers training on various HR topics.
  • Additional responsibilities assigned as necessary.
Position Requirements

Requirements of the position include:

  • Travel to field operations will be required. Up to 30% travel out of state and ability to regularly travel to local sites.

  • This position requires flexibility in scheduling to occasionally cover multi-shift facilities, or travel on limited notice. ¬

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task, and superb written and oral communication skills.


The qualified candidate is preferred to have:

  • Industry (Logistics, Supply Chain, and Transportation or related field) experience is highly preferred.

  • ¬ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience

  • (5+) five years Human Resources experience or related field
